The Shining Fields - Dazzling Wilderness asset pack finally is here to expand the world of the first entry with lots of new content!
Dazzling Wilderness is a dangerous and mysterious area that everyone avoids. It is said that poisonous snakes live in its dark caves full treasures. Luckily some people are brave enough to travel through this hostile lands and even sell some items to the newly arrived adventurers.
Current Version: 1.1
This pack adds a whole new environment with new tiles and objects. Let's also welcome Mathias, the merchant NPC! He has everything you need in the desert, for a small price ;).
Finally, there is a new type of enemy: the snake, which roams the desert in search of careless victims.

Just discovered this collection and I’m super excited to use it - love all the sets but this one I’m especially excited about. Really love the characters that are packed (not with this specific pack, the shining forest I believe to negate any confusion) in with the Shining Fields project too they’re prolly my favorite in this size atm.
Not sure if you’ve wrapped things up with the Shining Fields or not but sure hope we’ll see some more releases as well as future projects!
.. these never made it into my searches for the last few months and I’ve been scouring this site thoroughly prolly collected over 100 sets in 2 months for top down assets. I finally did some searches dropping “tileset” “top down” “topdown” “rpg” “map” “environment” and it came up, I know those are cliche tags but going off nothing it’s hard to intuitively find stuff through search - this is some of the top tier work I’ve seen on itch if you are interested in getting this infront of people I think adding some tags like those would have this blowing up because this is really great stuff.

The shining fields project is still ongoing, but i’ve been busy with work lately so is on a little hiatus right now. Its true that is hard to find on the platform and its a bit frustrating because i love the way it turned out. Anyways, what would you like to see in the next expansion? that would be very helpful!
